3. Virtual machine blue screen or error
Location: Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > Turn Windows features on or off.
Possible reasons for the problem:
Reason 1: This issue occurs because Device Guard or Credential Guard is incompatible with Workstation.
Reason 2: Caused by the incompatibility of Hyper-V in the Windows system.
Question 1: “Win + R” to open Run, enter gpedit.msc, and confirm to open the Local Group Policy Editor
Go to Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > System > Device Guard
Turn on Virtualization-based security set to Disabled.
Question 2: “Win + R” to open Run, enter services.msc, make sure to open local services > find the HV host service > set the startup type to “Disabled”.
Then directly disable “HV Host Service” and disable all Hyper-V services! As shown below:
Control Panel>Uninstall a program>Turn Windows features on or off to turn off Hyper-V, choose not to restart
Close Hyper-V through commands (closing Hyper-V in the control panel does not play a decisive role)
“win + x” and then run Windows Powershell as administrator (Administrator)
You can also choose “cmd” to run as administrator
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
If you need to restart hyper, you can use the following command
bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype auto
Finally restart your computer
